Thankfulness - a sharp weapon

Thankfulness is a spiritual weapon.  It is a positive focus on Him: 
the Architect of mankind.  Attitude toward Him is everything.
This attitude accomplishes much.  Sharp and powerful.
 We win. Anything less is dull and ineffective.

IS It Matter or DOES It Matter?

Matter matters.  
One is about the material substance of things.  One is about the importance of a thing: how much does it matter?  Which is also a kind of substance.  But, what makes a thing matter, and to whom?

How much weight do you put on a thing?  How heavily do you CARE ABOUT it?  VS. How much weight is intrinsic in a thing: a person; a mountain? As a matter of fact, which IS more important - matter or matter?  Allow me to take this matter further!

ALL LIFE MATTERS + WE ARE ALL MADE OF MATTER on the planet at this point. "Faith is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for.." Hebrews 11:1.  Do you hope for a car, for instance?  Or for a MEANINGFUL LIFE?  You can have a car and an empty life (vacant:opposite of matter).  Or a full, meaningful life and not have a car.  OR BOTH!!  Faith matters substantially.  Create well!

Seeing Him

I used to think I didn't need to SEE Jesus.  I don't NEED to - but I sure WANT to.  Who wouldn't?

"Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe."  I didn't "see" Him, but I sure FELT HIM WHEN HE "SHOWED UP".  It was my Spirit being born again.  I believed without seeing Him.

Since His time on earth we all have to believe without seeing Him - initially.  Almost all of us.
BUT NOW - WHY NOT?  I don't need to see Him IN ORDER TO believe.  I already KNOW HIM.
But He is appearing to many now, like right after His resurrection and ascension.  He released a lot of people from spiritual "prison", and a bunch of them were seen then.  WHY NOT NOW? No reason:)!

How did Yeshua/Jesus keep the Word perfectly, and NEVER even once break it?  In our humanness we may wonder; He was tempted like us.
Because He WAS the Word.  Abide in Him and be the same.

Two Wings...or more

It has been awhile since I've blogged anything.  Not because I don't have ideas.  Here is the latest:

There are two places, at least, that depict the Power of His wings.  I love them both.  Familiar verses.

Psalm 91:1  As you dwell in the secret place of Most High, you find that you are abiding under the SHADOW OF HIS WINGS.

Malachi 4:2  As we fear His name (respect Him as the final power) the Sun of righteousness shall rise WITH HEALING IN HIS WINGS.  

You've got to LOVE these wings!  Protective, powerful, full of goodness and peace.  Gracious!  Beautiful!  But we forget to go there or at least to STAY THERE.  Abide there!  Does it take a serious catastrophe for us to put aside our human ideas of how to proceed.  Under His WINGS I will TRUST!  Psalm 36:7.  So there's a third.  There are so many.  We take a lot of reminding, yes?  I do.

Off the Page Into Reality

Every day I write a to-do list.  I have to be careful that it doesn't become a dead works thing.  The academic way is inactive writing on the page.  This is a "form" thing, not a function, as some call it.

The Word of Elohim is active!  It comes to life in living color in front of your face - AS you seek from Him!  THEN - go-go-go!

Hebrews 4:12 is where the Word of God is called "living and active".  Right on the heels of the verses about entering His rest.    This means He energizes it more than just myself; so if a thing isn't done allowing this from Him, it's like soulish and at least half-dead.


Seeing it first, visually, in the mind's eye, is live, leading to "only doing what we see the Father doing" like Y'shua did.  (John 5:19).

If the sword of the Spirit is the Word of God, as Ephesians 6:17 says, that's pretty sharp and active!  Words- Get off my flat page into His Reality!

customs vs disciplines

I wrote that last one in a state of jet-lag from being on the other side of the world - then my back went out!

YOU BET I NEEDED REST, RECOVERY=HELP AND REFUGE - from all forms of "back-lash".  Still do, as always.  But it's all much better.  Thankfully.

On my journey, I was pondering the different customs of cultures.  (As for the process of going through "customs", it was a disordered mess and I missed a gate change at a particular US airport - cost me a whole extra day of travel!)

I realized that in my personal life, I have customs also.  It is my custom to commune with Elohiym in the early morning.  That is a pleasant thing.  It is natural for me.  Yet many, many years ago it started as a discipline.

I could have chosen many different uses of that time.  But I NEEDED to press in to HIM because things were...not easy, to say the least.  Still aren't, really.

Customs develop over a long period of time.  It's not that they are some sort of LAW that restricts you and you have to STRIVE to abide by it.  It is just a natural way of being, and doing follows.

I am again speaking to myself because I tend to overdo attempts at DISCIPLINE which makes the thing HARDER.  You beat yourself up for not sticking to it!  Whereas a custom is a pleasant thing that CAN FLEX with circumstances.

My "list" for the day can become more customary than a set of Requirements!!

My life just got EASIER!  (now to make more of my disciplines a custom!:)

Three Comings

There are many places in Scripture where we are invited to "Come".  What does this entail?  Simply our soul and spirit approaching Elohim, God, by intent: will or desire.  This is prayer.  Not hard.

The classic is in Matthew 11:28.  Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.  Do we really believe and receive that?   Take some.

Draw near to the throne of grace, confidently, that we may receive mercy and help in time of need.  Hebrews 4:16.  Drawing is Coming near.  Take some.

Then there is: we who have fled for refuge in laying hold of the hope set before us.  Hebrews 6:18.  This is running into His presence, for shelter.  Take some.

Rest, help and shielding.  I need all these very often!  If you Come near to God, you have to believe that He exists and ACTUALLY gives you the thing you need!  Hebrews 11:6.  I think I am not the only one who can use encouragement to grasp this REALITY FULLY.

A state of DWELLING in these realities is the desired result of constantly COMING to Him in daily need.  
Believing is the only stipulation to transact receiving.

Seems so simple, so why are so many of us wiped out, striving alone and vulnerable to attacks?  Umm.. we forgot, in our rushing around, to take some.  I need them all RIGHT NOW!  This is for me, I know.

Deep Things

This morning I was given lovely confirmations as pondering how Holy Spirit = Ruach Elohiym -(Breath of Most High)- searches the deep things of Yahweh.  These are the REAL depths!  His rain had been a topic of meditation also.

A light rain shower hit my skylight at that moment.  When I stepped out of my studio there was a full rainbow to the Northwest.  The sun had emerged.

In Revelation it calls the enemy's deep things "so-called".  It is the same Greek word for both.  Yahweh's are genuine; the enemy's, a convincing counterfeit.
(Bathos: profound and mysterious).  (1 Corinthians 2:10 / Revelation 2:24).
Romans 8:26 portrays the deep groaning of the Spirit in intercession through us and in the 11th chapter the depth of His riches is described, unfathomable in wisdom, knowledge and right judgements.  Incomparable to any others.

Protection/Power

We stay inside Yeshua (Jesus) for protection.

He stays inside of us for power (enablement).

(Of course there are many other functions in these placements, also).

John 15 is His discourse on the necessity of remaining in Him, Him in us.  Otherwise we may not fare as well in this battle we face daily.

Wait Longer to Heat UP.

Waiting on Yahweh is good.  Waiting longer can be even better, as when a pan stays on the stove longer:  IT GETS HOTTER!!  Duh!

In any given session of waiting, once attention is focused on Him, see how long you CAN wait.  Say, substitute for a one hour T.V. program.  He will heat up your spirit/atmosphere, take you places.

Our many "doings" tend to blur focus, block power.  If the pot's not on the element, it can't heat up.  Or, you may be walking in the fire, so stay in it as long as you can by grace.  It gives you an advantage.   Kingdom First @ all xx.  He'll show you when to move forward.

 *Turn up the fire, to go higher!*Let's hope that just means waiting longer, not hotter circumstances!  Uh, hope is good:)

Midnight Oil / Preparedness

PREPAREDNESS.  Oswald Chambers says, It's preparation AND preparation!  John Sanford says we who heal earth need this walk.  We know it in our minds and in our spirits.  The 5 foolish virgins were short on this.  Are we READY TO WAIT LONGER ~ AS MIDNIGHT APPROACHES?

Midnight darkness is deep darkness.  We will need all the supply we can get!

Should the Bridegroom tarry.  What does that Darkness look like?  Evil.  What is the preparation?

Mentally:  expect the unexpected.  Your theology might have to bust the box it's currently in.

Spiritually:  We are ALWAYS to focus on the UNSEEN.  As we do, we become what we behold: empowered by Yah whose Kingdom is to Come to earth, as in Heaven.  WORSHIP Most High.  REMAIN IN His Son - THAT IS ALWAYS OUR PLACE OF spiritual SAFETY!

Physically: Go ahead and store food/water, have emergency shelter.  But BETTER IS: press in to operate in the "powers of the age to come".  Do what Yeshua did:  Multiply food.  There is also water available coming out of the Spirit realm; divine oil emerges: supernatural supply.   

Best to not give up if He delays.  Evil may wax worse, but that doesn't mean He isn't STILL COMING!  If the oil is HOPE, we MUST maintain that, be ready to need/use extra supply.  On the other hand, His delay is no reason to go all fleshy and act out junk.  But that's another parable!

Miraculous Oil. (Guess I better start blogging again!)

Chanuka is celebrated because the Macabees during warfare ran out of oil for the temple lamp, which was to be kept burning always.  Miraculously, the oil did not diminish for 8 days!

The 5 foolish virgins ran out of oil waiting for the Bridegroom.  Yeshua taught that parable in the new covenant.  

He would have celebrated Chanuka when He was on earth.  The running out of /supernatural oil in the temple happened BETWEEN the old and new covenants.  Applying that now, oil portrays Holy Spirit SUPPLY.

Unfortunately, the unwise virgins could not access the miraculous!  They went to try to buy oil and missed the main event: coming of the Bridegroom!  The 5 wise virgins were well-equipped.  Plenty of oil!

BE READY TO ACCESS THE SUPERNATURAL IN THE LAST DAYS, which are NOW.

From Within

Eve didn't comprehend, nor did Adam, how vulnerable she was, having been taken out of his interior, to be created.

Human internals are protected by our exteriors for a reason.  Since woman was taken from within man, was she the target of the deception in Eden, perhaps, being more vulnerable?

AND YET - since the Kingdom of Yahuwah Elohim is WITHIN US, then she may also have a spiritual advantage, being taken FROM WITHIN. 

Y'shua said that the Kingdom is within us; in the epistles it is said, Messiah within, our hope of glory.

It is an interdependence, though, generally.  She needed man, to be taken out FROM.  He needed a worthy companion.

Why Is LOVE the GREATEST?

According to 1 Corinthians, of Faith, Hope and Love, LOVE is the GREATEST.  Why?

Faith is pretty great, indispensable, and without Hope you're hopeless - bland and despairing. 

But I realized, LOVE LEADS TO Hope and Faith.  If you don't care, why bother with hoping or believing for the best?

Love ignites hope ignites faith = you can SEE IT - IT just happens to be AHEAD OF TIME.

Which is because You DO Care about the someone or something.  Because you LOVE.

Conformity to Non-conformity?

I was brought up to be basically a non-conformist, though not in everything.  Some things are right to conform to.  But others - variables - are, well, variable.

But somehow I detected that in certain general "groups", in order to fit with those particular misfits, one must "obey" a whole new set of "rules".  Yuck.

Like, what you are "supposed" to approve or disapprove.  What you may or should not wear; what kind of hairstyle - it's "supposed" to say something about your inner being.  Ick.

Why should a person conform to non-conformity?  I like what I like, not what the "they" of my "group" say.  GOD!  What happened to genuine creativity?  Shade it however you like.  But the absolutes - they stand alone in the clear light of Day.

Atoms and Adams

It's all of You, Creator ~ every last atom.  The "last Adam" is You, too, Y'shua, Messiah, The Creator come down to "fix it" = our mess we* made of Your atoms!  You are Who You say You Are, NOT nameless and brainless.  You Are Who YOU SAY You are, YAHUWAH! NOT WHO WE may say.

His Healing Pool - Shark-Free

There are no sharks in the pool of grace!

Jump in and float ~ heavenly.

Swirl, swim and dive deep down here;

No fear lurks beneath, in this healing place.

Finding the entrance... may call for ...         tell ya later :)

That the risk is worth the rush.

More Parallels

IN the second book by Cassandra Boyson (see previous post), The Seeker's Quest, the heroine finds herself in an underwater city... very deep, yes.  Submergent, even!  I am now quite used to bumping into these parallels in her work:

I'd very deliberately put on Blue and Gray a day or two ago, and "heard" that it was very important.  In today's reading so far, p. 61, the Inventors' building interior is very deliberately Blue and Gray.  There will be more...

Her friendly Dragon took her there.   He is the uncorrupted version.  Whatever we can ask OR IMAGINE!  We can have...

YAHUWAH IS ABLE to make SO, the sanctified original.  Even our families are so.  Without even trying.  According to 1 Corinthians 7.  OK, getting ready for PASSOVER NOW!  YAY!!

Yes, I know no one is reading these at this time.  But I need to write anyway. Plus I will be writing for young people soon so I LOVE reading stuff for them too!  I did start once but came across, guess what, a parallel so I stopped.  But now I know better... it confirms and doesn't discourage.

Parallels in "Seeker's Call" by Cassandra Boyson

I am reading this fantasy for young people - AWESOME,  though I'd love to have been an editor/ proof-reader for it, I LOVE her characters and story!  One can easily overlook the few glitches.

It keeps paralleling my life - scarily.  I put water on for tea, next thing I know her character is boiling water for tea.  I am smelling sweet Lilac in the air outside; her character is enjoying the honey-fragrance of the air outside.  

She finds the source of a river in a very deep pool.  Well?  This blog is called Submergent Zone for a reason!  And I just read a bit yesterday in Jeanne Guyon's book on prayer about falling into the depths of God - fathomless!  I will be writing more on this topic SOON!
